Google's Android™ development
Google's Android™ open-source platform is quickly taking its place in the mobile applications market.
During two days, we’ll provide a kick start in using Android technology on both simulators as well as real live phones (Nexus One and an HTC EVO).
By the end of the summer camp, you should be able to build your own Android application.

Day One |
 |
Day one will be a kick-start to building a Hello-Android application. |
 |
After an overview of the stack, libraries and frameworks, we build a first app and deploy it to our Android devices. |
 |
In the afternoon, further in-depth topics such as the activity lifecycle, broadcast receivers, views, layouts, user events, database access and others are discussed and played around with. |

Day Two |
 |
We’ll look at more advanced topics such as services, sensors, Bluetooth, graphics & animations and how to build a UI for performance. |
 |
In the afternoon, using our freshly acquired knowledge, we’ll build a nifty app that can be a starting point for your own applications. |

The price for one participant for this 2-day summerclass is €400. |

Prerequisites
The summer camp is designed for software developers with a basic Java-knowledge interested in building applications on the Android mobile phone platform. |
